Loïse Bulot

As a visual artist and composer, Loïse Bulot has been developing a dreamlike universe through composition, drawing, live shows and performance. Her works explore fantastic, microscopic and living worlds. Her acousmatic and mixed compositions have been presented in France and internationally. Since 2015, she has also been developing a visual practice within the Risonanze company, which produces live shows, performances, art events and workshops for young audiences.

Plasticienne et compositrice, Loïse Bulot développe un univers onirique à travers la composition, le dessin, le spectacle et la performance. Ses œuvres explorent les mondes fantastiques, microscopiques et vivants. Ses pièces acousmatiques et mixtes ont été présentées en France et à l’étranger. Par ailleurs, elle développe un travail visuel depuis 2015 au sein de la compagnie Risonanze, qui propose des spectacles vivants, des performances, des rencontres artistiques et des ateliers auprès des jeunes publics.

Exploring the infinitesimal and the daphnias, tiny single-eyed creatures living in fresh water…
I worked by trying to transcribe the mechanical and highly fragile aspect of these organisms, their multiplicity, as well as the liquid environment that surrounds them.
This piece is part of the tryptic Three musics from the depths, compositions inspired by different forms of plankton.

Exploration de l'infinitésimal et des daphnies, créatures minuscules à œil unique vivant dans les eaux douces…
J'ai travaillé en voulant retranscrire l’aspect à la fois mécanique et très fragile de ces organismes, leur multiplicité, l'environnement liquide qui les entoure.
Cette pièce fait partie du tryptique Three musics from the depths, compositions inspirées par différentes formes de plancton.
